Kyle Whitaker knows a few things about swimming. His mother swam for Ball State and his father swam for Wabash College. Older sister Talor swam for Washington State and his younger twin brothers currently swim for Michigan (Aaron) and Navy (Ethan). Kyle recently finished up his swimming career after the 2016 Olympic Trials. He was a 12 time NCAA All American for the Michigan Wolverines from 2010-2014 as well as a member of the USA Jr National Team, the USA National Team, and represented Team USA at the World University Games.
Some of his best SCY times include:
200 IM: 1:41.14
400 IM: 3:38.51
200 Fly: 1:41.90
Kyle was in town this weekend for Flow Swimming’s clinic and therefore, we bring you another episode of Between Two Nerds where we sit down with a couple of frosty beverages and simply talk about swimming.
Here is the first of several videos we will be posting. Here Kyle talks about one of the hardest sets he recently completed leading up to Olympic Trials training with Michael Flach.
