After searching high and low for a replacement to my Pacepal clock, I really really wanted this personal clock to work on a lot of levels. My dashed hopes include:
1. The clock face is too small to be read by more than one lane.
2. The control buttons are hard to read and understand, and did not correspond to the instructions I had.
3. After the clock is in the case, there are no buttons on the case to make adjustments. Therefore, one must stop one's workout, dry off at least one's hands, unscrew the tight screws, be careful not to get the clock wet, make adjustments via the difficult-to-see-and-understand buttons, then do the process in reverse in order to continue.
4. If charged for "too long", the clock ceases to work. The electronics konk out.
However, the customer service was sincere and attempted to help. But parts of this help was delivered in a patronizing manner, i.e. "Oh, it works great for so many and they have no problem with any of your issues..." so that left a bit of a condescending, off-putting taste in my mouth. There was a promise of "a case that you can use the buttons from the outside is in the works" but nothing is available. I waited a long time to write this review because I was hoping things would improve. Alas, I have come to this conclusion and will look elsewhere for a suitable underwater/waterproof clock to use poolside.
